Of all of the disciplines I have been involved with for marriages, nothing has had the positive results that Marriage Coaching has achieved.
Marriage coaching helps a couple to rediscover the spark and excitement in the marriage. It cultivates forward thinking verses looking back, it presents new listening skills to the couple and helps them to move forward to a positive and purpose filled relationship.
My main goals in Marriage (Relationship Coaching:
01) Create a confidential, trusting and safe enviroment for each of people in the marriage to express themself
02) Help facilitate conversations that are forward looking and create forward movement and are not backward (past) centered
03) Facilitate each person taking personal responsibility for their decisions and actions
04) Facilitate the couple to make forward thinking action steps to reach their goals for a healthy relationship
The Marriage (Relationship) Coaching that I do forms around the following questions/comments that each person gets to ask/say:
01) One thing I would like to focus on today is....
02) One thing I would like for you to know about me is......
03) One thing I would like to know about you is....
04) One thing that is important to me is....
05) One thing that makes me happy is....
06) One thing that makes me sad is.....
07) One thing that I am willing to do to makes this relationship better is....
The Marriage Coaching that I do consist of three elements and I am excited about each of them:
#1-----Marriage Coaching for couples that want to move their marriage from a good marriage to a great marriage. I have seen couple make outstanding progress in as few as three session (see Rate Chart for fees). The process that we have developed is confidential and creates a safe space for communicating. The clients set the agenda for each session and each person is given the opportunity to take ownership of their own feelings and growth steps.

#2-----We train the couple to become proficient in basic Coaching Skills ("It is better to teach a man to fish than to give him a fish"). Our goal is that both of the people will be able to use these coaching skills in an ongoing way to coach each other, have great comunication skills, make positive forward thinking plans, reignite curiosity, learn to honor their own core values and their partners and find out how to celebrate wins again. This kind of coaching is for both results and for growth. A great side bar for teaching the couple coaching skills is how they can relate to their children in a new and exciting way through coaching them.
#3------Our final goal is that married couples will be so helped by the Marriage Coaching that they receive that they will desire to become trained as a Marriage Coach (and we are setup to do just that for them). Insight School of Coach Training offers the following:
