City Bible Institute and the Chair of City Bible Institute School of Coach Training will be making application to the INTERNATIONAL COACHING FEDERATION for Accreditation of our Coach Training in DECEMBER of 2018. We hope to be able to offer 32 ICF hours of ICF Accredited Coach Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) by or before April of 2019. Here is what you need to know about CBISCT:
PROGRAM TITLE: City Bible Institute School of Coach Training (CBISCT)

-32 hours of Coach Specific Traing hours when Accredited
-Two 16 hour courses---"201 Foundational Dynamics of Coaching for Results" and "301 Foundational Dynamics of Coaching for Growth"
-Face to Face Training over two 8 hour days (usually a Thursday and a Friday) (Locations may vary)
-Training Includes Foundational Principles of Coaching, focus on the ICF Code of Ethics and the 11 ICF Core Competencies. The student will also do live Coaching Demos in class and one recorded final Coaching Demo with a written assessments done by a P.C.C. certified Coach. Students will also do homework assignments and do Coaching Assessments on their classmates Coaching.
-We use the D.R.E.A.M. Model for Coaching developed by Rev.Dr. Joel A. Oliver P.C.C. AGCC3. This model provides a repeatable coaching process D: Develope Relationship R: Responsive Listening E: Explore possibilities A: Action Steps M: Measure Progress.
-Our learning Goals include the following:
---The student will learn how to apply the ICF Code of Ethics and the 11 ICF Core Competencies into their Coaching
---The student will learn the difference between Coaching and Counseling, Consulting and Mentoring. The student will learn how to honor their clients and how to stay in Coach Mode
-Our training is a Teach-Demonstrate-Do -Review Model with class participation and interaction with the trainer and with the other students
-The prerequisite for taking "201 Foundational Dynamics of Coaching for Results" is to enroll for the course through the City Bible Institute and to do the Course Prework before the Course begins. The prework includes attending an on-line (non-credit) four hour introductory course "100 Introduction to Coaching" offered by City Bible Institute School of Coach Training.

- 20 ICF Coach-Specific Training Hours, delivered in 2 full face-to-face training days, and 4 follow-up triad sessions
- Two days, 9am-4:30pm (with lunch provided)
- Emphasis on the basics of coaching: Listening, Powerful Questions, and Action Steps
- Practice coaching triads and writing assignments in between sessions
- Roughly equivalent to the training used by 50+ denominations around the world
- All 11 ICF Core Coaching Competencies are covered (can be used towards ICF Certification Track)
- Cost: $700.00 in cooperation with CoachNet Global----$250/course if the student is not pursuing ICF certified hours
